What is Ultrasonic Liposuction?
Ultrasonic liposuction is a unique body sculpting procedure that uses sound waves to break apart pockets of fat and easily remove them from the body. Because ultrasonic liposuction liquefies fat before eliminating it, the procedure is considerably less-invasive than other liposuction methods which manually break up fat using a surgical instrument. This form of liposuction can be used on several areas of the body, and is particularly effective for areas of dense fat. During internal ultrasonic liposuction, high energy sound waves are applied beneath the skin to targeted areas of fat through a thin vacuum-like tube known as a cannula.
